What we collect

What you send in forms (name, email, company, listing details) and payment confirmations from Stripe; we never see your card number. We use it to publish listings and reply.

Job-alert and marketing emails (opt-in only)

If you enter your email and tick the box (on any page, including after the Resume Check or Resume Builder), we store your email, optional trade, optional city or ZIP, the page and tool you signed up from, the job you checked (Resume Check only), the time, and the exact wording you agreed to, as a record of your consent. We use it to email you matching job alerts, career tips and occasional offers from us or selected partners (for example training schools, apprenticeship programs, license-prep or tool deals). Partner offers are sent by us and clearly labeled; we never sell your email or give it to partners. We may count sign-ups by trade and area (for example "40 HVAC techs in Portland get our alerts") when talking to employers, without identifying anyone. About one email a week. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link; you can also email pkbarella@gmail.com. When you unsubscribe we stop emailing you and delete your details on request.

Your resume

Resume Builder: your resume stays in your browser (a draft is saved in your browser's localStorage until you click Clear); we never receive it. Resume Check: your resume is processed in your browser and is not stored by us. If you request AI rewrites, the resume and job text are sent through Netlify's AI Gateway to an AI model provider to generate suggestions, then discarded; we log only counts, never content. We do not use resume text for marketing, and signing up for emails does not send us your resume. Scores are automated and are not a hiring guarantee.

Providers, rights and contact

Providers: Netlify (hosting, forms, AI gateway), Stripe (payments), an email-sending provider. We use privacy-friendly server analytics only, no ad pixels. We don't sell personal data. To see, correct or delete your data, or opt out, email pkbarella@gmail.com or use the contact page.
